This month we will be discussing:
Understanding Transportation Trends in the Albuquerque Metro Area
Population growth has stalled, but congestion is going up, especially crossing the river. Traffic fatalities have fallen in the last couple of years, but Albuquerque remains at the top of the list for cities with the highest pedestrian fatality rates. There is growing momentum in support of infill development, but there is a persistent shortage in housing. Transit ridership is making a comeback, but challenges remain. Come hear about transportation trends across the metropolitan area, and some humble attempts to make sense out of the noise.
