Description: In this presentation, we will explore applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in enhancing transportation safety. Specifically, we will focus on leveraging ArcOnline data to create powerful tools that facilitate effective stakeholder and public-facing communications for consensus-building among stakeholders. By integrating live data into GIS platforms, developing easy-to-understand dashboards, and specialized story maps, the data can establish a shared and common understanding of transportation safety issues.
