Federal Infrastructure Grants

Eileen Yazzie - Federal Grants and Opportunities Through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) Grant Programs

Eileen Yazzie is a transportation planner with 20+ years of experience that has resulted in known successes of transportation/transit corridor and network analysis, managing and delivering multi-modal projects, and public engagement. Having worked at two different City Transportation Departments and a Metropolitan Planning Organization, has provided Eileen with the unique perspective of how important it is to work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, planners, technicians, and executive leadership to evaluate different ideas and create implementable plans that align with values and goals. Ms. Yazzie is passionate about making a positive impact in the communities she works in, and is driven to make transportation equitable, accessible, and safe for all users.

From her public sector background, Eileen brings a unique discipline in the area of capital improvement programs that include prioritization, development, management, and measurements.  She has built these from the ground up, and developed the connecting pieces: policy initiatives, process and procedures, financial and grant strategy, federal compliance, intergovernmental agreements, and key communications.

Join us for her presentation and discussion about strategies to help identify federal grant opportunities that align with your goals, deciding if federalization is the right path forward for your project, preparing for the grant application, and identifying partners and resources for implementation.
