ITE Arizona Brand Update

Dear Fellow AZITE Members,
On behalf of the ITE Arizona Section Board, I wanted to share some news about ITE International’s Brand Evolution and how that will impact our Section. For the last two years, ITE International has been working on modernizing and streamlining branding for the organization. You can learn more about the effort at https://www.ite.org/about-ite/ite-brand-evolution/. The resulting policy that has been developed will have two impacts on our Section.
First, we will need to adopt a new Section logo. While we love our current logo, this is an opportunity to embrace a fresh design that will represent our state going forward. Several of our Board members have already been working on new designs, but we also want to be inclusive of any of our members that would like to try their hand at the redesign. If you’re interested in participating, please contact Diahn Swartz and let her know that you’re working on a design. Please also reference the ITE Branding Guidelines available at the link provided for the requirements. Your concept will need to be submitted by November 30th for consideration.
We will present three options for the new logo to the membership at the Annual Business Luncheon on December 4th with an online vote from the membership to follow afterwards.
The second change is that the Brand Evolution realigns the naming convention for the subgroups of ITE. The nomenclature “ITE Arizona Section” is the new requirement, versus our traditional “Arizona Section of ITE”. That said, we are still able to use our familiar “AZITE” as our acronym.
