Hello Mountain District Members!
With Spring just around the corner, you’re likely anxious to do some traveling with the family, and hopefully our upcoming ITE Mountain District Annual Meeting in Big Sky, Montana June 19-21 is part of your itinerary. With over 100 abstract submissions in hand, the LAC is putting the finishing touches on an excellent technical event with some great family activities included as well. Please take the opportunity to extend your time in the area over the weekend after the annual meeting and plan to explore all the wonders that Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks have to offer, as just a part of the area’s natural beauty.
The Big Sky Local Arrangements Committee isn’t the only group that has been busy. Please read on for updates from our new Service and Community Outreach Committee and DEI Committee. Both of these groups offer additional opportunities to get involved in YOUR Mountain District, so please take advantage of the chance to participate and contribute your ideas.
