PRESENTATION SUMMARY
This presentation discusses how roads are a major barrier and source of mortality for many wildlife species and how wildlife crossings and fencing can help to mitigate these effects through projects like Regional Transportation Authority funded State Route 77 and Tangerine Road.
JEFF GAGNON BIO
Jeff Gagnon is a Statewide Connectivity Biologist with Arizona Game and Fish Department and has focused on research and implementation of mitigation for habitat fragmentation and wildlife-vehicle collisions for more than 20 years. Projects include the US Highway 93 and SR 77 Overpass Projects, SR 260 elk crossings.
