St. Mary's Food Bank Volunteering Opportunity

Please join us on Friday, November 12 from 7:30 – 10:30 am at the St. Mary’s Food Bank Distribution Center located at 3131 W. Thomas Road for another joint Arizona ITE and ITS Arizona Community Service and Outreach Committee event!
We will be assisting the food bank by loading food boxes into vehicles and assisting with the general process. Please respond to Brandon Forrey at [email protected] by Wednesday, November 10 with names, ages (if under 18), and contact information.
AGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum age: 16 years old without an adult
- 12 years old with an adult
- Please complete a Youth Release Form for all volunteers under 18 years old
DRESS CODE:
The comfort and safety of our volunteers is important. Due to health codes and safety precautions, a strict volunteer dress code is in effect. Volunteers MUST wear:
- Closed-toe shoes (sneakers suggested).
- All shirts must have sleeves (No tank tops, spaghetti straps, sleeveless, midriff or low-cut tops)
- Pants, jeans, or workout attire preferred. Shorts are allowed at a respectable length.
PARKING:
VOLUNTEER PARKING IS LIMITED. PLEASE CARPOOL AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE! OVERFLOW PARKING IS AVAILABLE AT 3020 W. WINDSOR AVE., PHOENIX, AZ 85009 (PARKING MAP)
- Please leave valuables, purses or backpacks in your vehicle for your safety and security. St. Mary’s Food Bank is not responsible for lost and/or stolen items brought into our facilities.

- Cereal (boxes & cereal bars – whole grain, low sugar)
- Rice (no bulk bags, please)

- Tuna (canned or vacuum packed)
- Canned Soups, Stews, Chili and Pastas
- Diapers (children’s & adult’s)
- Juice (canned, plastic or boxed)
- Peanut Butter
