PRESENTATION SUMMARY:
ITE recently published a recommended practice for determining traffic signal change and clearance intervals. Bob Hunt has developed a process using Access and Excel to calculate clearance values per these new guidelines. Bob will present generally on the need for the program, the methodology of the program, data required for the program, and what he learned about programming in the Excel and Access environment.

BOB HUNT BIO:
Bob Hunt is a civil engineer who retired from the City of Tucson in 2008. Most of his time with the city focused on traffic signal operations and various central traffic management systems. He continues to consult part time with the city in these areas. ITE recently published a recommended practice for determining traffic signal change and clearance intervals. Bob has developed a process using Access and Excel to calculate clearance values per these new guidelines.
