Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking a civil engineer to join our collaborative and innovative transportation team. Responsibilities include planning, analysis and designs for multiple transportation facilities including roadways, bridges, sidewalks, trails, traffic control devices, and transit guideways; performing calculations; preparing base mapping; conducting site investigations; assisting with geometric design, grading, drainage, and hydraulic analysis; preparing design plans; assisting with cost estimates; preparing technical reports and memos; assisting with project management tasks. A valid driver’s license and some travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil engineering from an accredited four-year college or university AND at least four years of relevant work experience.
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
- Transportation engineering design project experience
- Traffic engineering analysis and design experience
- CADD experience (AutoCAD or Microstation)
- Writing technical reports
- Transportation data analysis experience
- PE license in any state

Salary Range: $77,000 - $92,000 – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
